Condition

Undescended testis

Also known as: Cryptorchidism

An undescended testis is a testis that has not moved down into the scrotum by the time of birth. Many move down by themselves in the first months of life. If one has not, surgery is usually advised in early childhood, because timing can affect fertility and later health.
